AR Rahman to unveil the soundtrack of ‘Le Musk’; music will wield the pulse of his high-octane, cinematic experience!

New Delhi: The magic presented by the acclaimed music composer, AR Rahman, is quite famous in all his music presentations. In his very first directorial film, “Le Musk,” he has gone a step ahead. On Wednesday, the genius unveiled the soundtrack for the much-awaited multisensory virtual reality movie; this is the sound that leads the audience in their emotional journey in the film.

The much-awaited soundtrack of “Le Musk,” which was already making waves at prestigious film festivals—from the Cannes’ extended reality showcase to Los Angeles and Toronto—has been no less than a testimony to Rahman’s varied musical genius, with its 12 tracks that will traverse another different genre, from jazz and orchestral pieces to World music. The amalgamation of sounds complements the fact that “Le Musk” is promising to be nothing short of an immersive experience. Released worldwide on Wednesday on Believe Music, a leading independent digital music company, the soundtrack is now available across all markets.

“Music is the heartbeat of ‘Le Musk’. It carries the soul of the film, guiding the audience through an emotional and sensory journey,” Rahman said in a statement at the launch. His passion for the project was more than evident as he underlined the toil and sweat put in by the author of the film. “It’s a labor of so much hard work and love, really pushing the boundaries in how we use technology to create something truly immersive, and I am beyond excited to finally share this soundtrack with the world and give a glimpse into the world we have created,” added the multiple-award-winning musician.

“Le Musk” was not a solopreneur endeavor. It is an adaptation that picked the most outstanding works from a crowd of renowned figures from within the circle of music. The music feature of score of the film features vocalists among them Nora Arnezeder, Sana Moussa, Linda Lind, Mayssa Karaa, Hiral Viradia, and Simona Gilbert among many others, as well as the Firdaus Orchestra and the Budapest Orchestra.

Most of them represent a rich and varied range of musical talent, hitherto dissimilar, contributing to the thick, dense, and multilayered sound of Le Musk. Adding even more to the incredible musical pedigree of the movie, the movie involves participation from Greg Penny, a Grammy-winning music engineer who also helped create its soundtrack to ensure all its tracks are finely tuned to assist the overall immersion of the audience watching the film.

“Le Musk” is yet another chapter in life and adventure, already written largely by Mr. Rahman through his innovating and dabbling in new mediums. With epic credentials in pioneering film music, Rahman’s chef-d’oeuvre in VR filmmaking once again becomes a testimony to his creatively restless pursuits in a rather new foray—into digital storytelling. A man dedicated to always pushing that envelope, whether within technology or music, Rahman has always made it a point to he stay a cut above the rest, simply as far as the entertainment arena goes.

Rahman is now presenting “Le Musk” to the world: a bouquet of songs that include an invitation, hopefully heartening for people to experience cinema like never before. He will set new paradigms of how film engagingly influences audiences with his vision brought on one silken string, shaping a world together with music, technology, and storytelling, all in one harmonious, seamless, immersive package.

This global launch of ‘Le Musk’ would be a new voyage, not just for the composer but for the audience as well. With Rahman’s music, and that from all over the world looking at it, it is without doubt that ‘Le Musk’ is going to be a humongous addition to the world of virtual reality cinema.
